Before: A spread ranch home.
Challenge: Taking a dark, very compartmentalized home with good bones and making it into the space my own family dreamed of while still keeping the same foundation footprint. You wouldn’t hire a financial advisor who couldn’t handle his own bank book so this is an intimate look at the function and beauty we created for my own family.
After: A two-story casual midwest brick that is open and filled with light. A big kitchen, open to the family room with a kitchen table that doesn’t overwhelm us for everyday dining. This house was truly designed to be lived in for my own family.
